Maxleaf Milestones
1990The first set of production equipment is purchased.
1992Maxleaf Stationery Co., Ltd is established with about 10 varieties of products.
1994The sales of Maxleaf notebooks and exercise books reaches over 1 hundred million RMB (US$13 million), which makes Maxleaf brand No. 1 in the sales of notebooks and exercise books in China.
1995Three more factories are added and over 300 varieties of products. The total number of employees reaches over 1000.
1998Maxleaf successfully carries out a structural transformation and establishes Wuhan Maxleaf Co., Ltd.
September 1999The 1st phase of Maxleaf Industrial Park in Wujiashan is ready for production.
September 2000The 2nd phase of Maxleaf Industrial Park is completed. The number of employees reaches over 1500 and product varieties increase to over 2000.
October 2001Maxleaf successfully acquires Hubei Huali Paper Co., Ltd, which is transformed to today¡¯s Jianli Maxleaf Paper Co., Ltd., The number of Maxleaf employees increases to over 2000. This symbolizes Maxleaf¡¯s expansion from paper processing to papermaking.
May 2003Maxleaf successfully acquired Hubei Xiangfan Paper-making Factory, which is restructured into the current Xiangfan Maxleaf Paper Co., Ltd. The total number of Maxleaf employees reaches 3000.
April 2004Wuhan Maxleaf Co., Ltd is renamed and registered as Wuhan Maxleaf Paper Co., Ltd.
June 2004National Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau approves the registration of Maxleaf Paper Co., Ltd, a new name with a regional location.
